Principal’s Corner:
It has been so fun to meet many of you over the last
couple of weeks. While it still feels like there is so
much to do, we are all eagerly awaiting the return of
our kids. The staff at Hawthorne is one of a kind, and I
feel so privileged to get to work alongside them all. I
look forward to getting to know more of this amazing Hawthorne community (parents, neighbors, families and students). We recognize that there is anxiety in starting a new year. Your kids will need to adjust to new teachers and classmates. Their principal, PE teacher, music teacher, and maybe their classroom teacher is new. BUT, we are a team, and we are here to help and support everyone through these transitions. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or to me if you have any questions or concerns.
It is going to be a great year!
